The Latest from 7NEWS will broadcast a special one-hour edition LIVE from 7pm (AEDT) every night for the next two weeks, with all the major developments and up-to-the-minute information in the fight against the COVID-19 global pandemic.
Anchor Michael Usher will be joined each night by Australia’s government and medical leaders for official updates about the next phases of the pandemic plan, as well as the latest health advice for your whole family.

That’s a real shame about H&A it’s great to have some light hearted local drama.
Do we really need more News programs.
There are enough depressing news stories all day every day, including weekends. There’s no longer any sport to scream at.
Surely you have plenty of Home and Away scraps on the floor you could make enough episodes to last the rest of the year. The kids and adults need a drama that will absorb them even if it’s only for 22 minutes (once the ads are cut out.) Especially in this world of viruses and keep your distance.
Is the production company getting lazy or greedy?

Yes I agree Steven 100%,it’s in our face from morning to night. Yes we do need our programs we follow to take our mind off what’s happening, just for half an hour????
