ROSTERED ON SEASON TWO: BIGGER, BADDER AND MORE POLITICALLY INCORRECT THAN EVER!

Set in electrical goods store “Electroworld”, the quirky series gives viewers a unique insight into “retail hell”, shining a humorous light on the all too familiar situations that almost all retail workers have found themselves in: demanding customers, incompetent managers, the threat of ‘head office’, alpha male salesmen, gossiping staff and more.

The first narrative comedy commissioned by 7mate, ROSTERED ON has already amassed a bevy of fans worldwide, with season one racking up more than 250 million views online across Australia, USA, UK and Canada.

In season two, the Electroworld team is back, bigger, badder and more politically incorrect than ever.

Nick Boshier (Bondi Hipsters) joins the cast for season two, along with guest appearances by fellow Hipster Christiaan Van Vuuren and beloved comedian Bob Franklin, while cast favourites including Shaun (Paul Moore, Winners & Losers), Adam (Doug Lyons), Tess (Tara Vagg), Brett (Lliam Murphy) and Beeanka (Diana Brumen) will all be back.

A labour of love for creator Ryan Chamley, ROSTERED ON is a true rags-to-riches story, or as Chamley says a “rags-to-actually getting paid” story.

“It’s extremely surreal to look back at the journey of the show from where we are now. From a small indy web series shot on a shoestring budget, to Netflix, and now to Channel Seven – a major Australian network – it’s a real dream come true! It makes my time spent slaving away in retail almost worth it… almost” Chamley said.

ROSTERED ON is produced by Ruby Entertainment and Robot Army with support from Screen Australia and Film Victoria.

Season two of cult Aussie comedy ROSTERED ON will debut on 7mate on Wednesday 19 June at 9pm.
