HBO has released the first teaser trailer for the highly anticipated Watchmen TV series based on the original DC comics.
Set in an alternate history where “superheroes” are treated as outlaws, this drama series from executive producer Damon Lindelof, Watchmen is a modern-day reimagining of Alan Moore’s groundbreaking graphic novel about masked vigilantes
The creators are promising to embrace the nostalgia of the original groundbreaking graphic novel of the same name while attempting to break new ground of its own.

The cast of Watchmen includes Academy Award winner Regina King, Jeremy Irons, Don Johnson, Jean Smart, Tim Blake Nelson, Louis Gossett Jr., Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Hong Chau, Andrew Howard, Tom Mison, Frances Fisher, Jacob Ming-Trent, Sara Vickers, Dylan Schombing, and James Wolk.
Watchmen will debut on HBO in late 2019 and is expected to be air ‘Express from the US’ on Foxtel
