When Todd McKenny revealed his ex-boyfriend went on to marry his sister the fallout was immediate, but now Simon Gallaher reportedly blames McKenny for the breakdown of his marriage after 32 years and 3 children.
When entertainment reporter Peter Ford dropped this juicy tweet on Easter Monday, to say I was intrigued would be an understatement;

Ford has now revealed on Perth’s 6PR the showbiz couple are Simon Gallaher and his wife Lisa.
The couple became gossip fodder recently when performer Todd McKenny revealed on the Word For Word podcast Gallaher had been his boyfriend for 5 years before marrying McKenny’s sister, Lisa.
According to The Age McKenney revealed:
“I have a sister. She is 11 months older than me, she married my ex boyfriend. We have a weird relationship.”
“She is still married to my ex-boyfriend but just has never mentioned it to me. It’s weird, isn’t it? I think this is the first time I have ever talked about it publicly.
“Simon Gallaher, big theatrical producer. We did Pirates of Penzance together.
“I went out with Simon for five years. It wasn’t a weekend fling at the drive in. We split up and I went on with my life and he went on with his.”
At the time a furious Gallaher posted on his Facebook feed:
“I have only one thing to say. Todd McKenney is a Headline Whore. Shame on him. His sister on the other hand is the love of my life and wife of over 31 years. I love her to the end of the world.”
Now it appears the pressure of that public outing has led to Simon and Lisa’s marriage falling apart and, according to Ford, Simon puts the blame squarely at Todd’s feet.
As Ford told 6PR:
“It took a very, very big toll and Simon and on Lisa and I’ve confirmed this with Simon himself; Simon went into a very dark place, even contemplated suicide as a result of this story being exposed.”
Simon wants to know why Todd ‘outed’ him against his will and despite many messages and texts to Todd, he never replies.
For his part, Todd remains adamant is was his truth to tell and he was entitled to tell it, but the fallout has led Todd into a deep depression and his sister no longer speaks to him.
Now, according to Ford, Simon and Lisa are now only speaking through their lawyers, despite having a devoted relationship up until this story broke.
