Stan’s smash hit series YOUNGER will return for the much-anticipated fifth season on Wednesday June 6, with episodes dropping weekly, same day as the U.S., exclusively on Stan.
YOUNGER follows Liza, played by Sutton Foster, a woman who lies about her age at her job in the highly competitive world of publishing. As Liza’s personal and professional lives have become irreversibly intertwined over time, keeping the secret proves more and more difficult, and she finally reveals the truth to Kelsey, played by Hilary Duff, her friend and partner at work. Still, Liza must keep up appearances, as she is torn between her attraction to her boss and the fact that their professional relationship was built on a lie.
This season, series star Miriam Shor will make her television directorial debut with an episode to air in July and, as previously announced, Charles Michael Davis (The Originals), who plays Kelsey’s ex and work rival, Zane Anders, has joined the cast as a series regular.
YOUNGER is executive produced and written by entertainment icon Darren Star (creator of Sex and the City) and is based on the novel Younger by Pamela Redmond Satran. The series stars two-time Tony® winner Sutton Foster (Bunheads), Hilary Duff (Lizzie McGuire), Debi Mazar (Entourage), Miriam Shor (GCB), Nico Tortorella, Peter Hermann, Molly Bernard and Charles Michael Davis. Patricia Field, who worked with Star on Sex and the City and was also behind the outfits on Ugly Betty and The Devil Wears Prada, will be a costume consultant on the production.
Season 5 of YOUNGER will premiere June 6 exclusively on Stan with new episodes every Wednesday, same day as U.S.
Seasons 1- 4 of YOUNGER are currently streaming exclusively on Stan
