The countdown is on. Fox Sports’ dedicated 24/7 Bathurst channel, on Foxtel, will return on October 2, delivering week-long entertainment and round-the-clock action from the most iconic event on the Virgin Australia Supercars calendar.

Fox Sports 506 will become the home of the Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000, with every session LIVE, continuous and in HD. Fans can also get instant access via Foxtel Now, and be signed up and streaming all the action LIVE within minutes.

In addition to start-to-finish coverage LIVE from Mount Panorama, the pop up channel will feature several new entertainment programs, a number of old favourites, plus classic races throughout the week.

Jess Yates and Russell Ingall countdown Bathurst’s most unforgettable moments on the all-new Bathurst Top 10 Shootout, at 7.30pm EST on October 2.

Fans can re-live the biggest crashes, the most nail-biting finishes and controversial moments ever seen at The Great Race. Fans can also have their say on what features on the show via a social media poll on Fox Sports’ Facebook page in the lead up to the premiere.

Bathurst Legends returns at 8.30pm to delve into the folklore of The Great Race and some of the most memorable stories to have emerged from the mountain.

This year’s episode takes an in-depth look at 2006; the haunting year that Mount Panorama claimed Mark Porter’s life, Peter Brock passed away, and his mentee, Craig Lowndes went on to claim his second Bathurst victory.

Fox Sports will pay tribute to some of the biggest names to have conquered the mountain in Bathurst Heroes & Legends, premiering on October 3 at 7.30pm.

Neil Crompton will be joined by Allan Moffat, Jim Richards, Fred Gibson, Colin Bond and Mike Raymondfor the 60-minute program that will examine some of the finest achievements of these legendary drivers.

Inside Supercars returns at 6.30pm on October 4, with Mark Skaife, Greg Rust, Greg Murphy, Crompton and Yates on hand to preview the action ahead.

Attention turns to the track from October 5, with Skaife and Crompton calling each session, while Ingall and Yates analyse the action and all the big talking points across the weekend.

Then on October 6, Pit Lane LIVE returns to take viewers behind the scenes as drivers and teams prepare for the biggest race weekend of the year. The show will also feature the Grand Final of the Pirtek Pit Stop Challenge, where the four fastest crews of the 2017 season compete for $25,000 and the Golden Rattle Gun Trophy.

Fox Sports’ Race Centre will be the ultimate companion to the TV broadcast. Available via foxsports.com.au and the Fox Sports App, the Race Centre will offer fans unrivalled access to team radios, live timing and racing stats, car telemetry for all 26 Supercars and an up to the minute blog of key events during each race.

Australia’s number one multi-sport website, foxsports.com.au will also be the destination to follow the action online, with a dedicated Bathurst page featuring the latest news, highlights, and race information.
