The BBC has confirmed Matt LeBlanc will return to host motoring program Top Gear with a new series set to air in Australia on BBC Knowledge early next year.
American actor LeBlanc has signed a two series deal with the BBC.
LeBlanc will be joined by Chris Harris and Rory Reid for series 24 of the program, with regular appearances from Eddie Jordan, Sabine Schmitz and The Stig.
Harris and Reid have been elevated to hosting roles on Top Gear after winning fan approval with while hosting spin-off series Extra Gear.
Previous co-host of the program Chris Evans quit after just one season with the program after being widely criticised for his hosting style. Evans was also revealed to be facing a police probe following historic accusations of sexual assault.
