Joining Paul on Saturdays is Sky News anchor Jaynie Seal with news and Sky News sports anchor Jim Callinan at the sports desk.

Paul Murray said: “The world doesn’t stop spinning on the weekend, why should Sky News? The idea is a simple one, to tell you what’s going on, in our own way.

We’re a whole new option for people who want to stay plugged in while they are getting the kids ready for the weekend sport run.”

Airing Saturdays at 9:00pm AEST on Sky News Live each week on The B Team Peter will offer his ‘unique and lively take on the lighter side of the news and events making headlines’.

Peter Berner said: “The B Team will be a show about everything. I’ll be joined by smart, funny minded people and spend an hour sifting through the news of the week taking a broader look at the world that is. I’ll be honest, I need all the help I can get to try and work out what the hell is going on.”
