The ABC has confirmed Kitchen Cabinet will return just in time for the 2016 Federal Election.
Counting down to polling day, no pantry will be safe as Annabel Crabb travels around the country to meet some of the most interesting political players in Australian parliament.
In the season’s first episode, Annabel travels to Burnie, Tasmania to dine with colourful crossbench Senator Jacqui Lambie.
She’s a former soldier, who won a Senate seat in 2013 as part of Clive Palmer’s team but subsequently deserted and now leads her own political party, the Jacqui Lambie Network.
Also featuring in this sixth season of Kitchen Cabinet is Labor Senator Sam Dastyari, Liberal Senator Michaelia Cash, Greens Senator Scott Ludlam and a few more election campaign surprise guests to be announced very soon.
Kitchen Cabinet returns Thursday May 26 at 8pm on ABC & iview.
