However the one-sided contest failed to get anywhere near the same ratings as Games One and Two which averaged 2.487m and 2.616m respectively.
The National (5 City Metro and Regional) audience for the State of Origin Rugby League Game 3 Match saw the peak grow to 4.064 million and the average to 3.315 million viewers.
The Mid-Year Ashes: First Test- Eng v Aus Session 1 was the dominant No.1 multichannel program of the night achieving a peak audience of 1.105 million and averaging 731,000 total viewers across the 5 City Metro.
The National (5 City Metro and Regional) audience for The Mid-Year Ashes: First Test- Eng v Aus Session 1 saw the peak grow to 1.582million and the average to 958,000 million viewers.
The Nine Network dominated primetime across the country, winning all key demos including People 25-54 (49.6%), 18-49 (51.1%), 16-39 (53.7%) and Total People (46.7%).
The Nine Network also secured phenomenal shares in Sydney (51.2%) and in Brisbane (61.6%) with Total People.
