This outrageous collection of John Waters’ most memorable movies features introductions from Mr Waters himself (filmed in his Baltimore home), with personal insights and anecdotes from his long and insanely illustrious career.

A self-proclaimed ‘filth elder’, director, screenwriter, photographer and best-selling author, John Waters rose to fame in the early ’70s for his transgressive and unforgettable cult films, and later crossed over into Hollywood still pushing the boundaries of good vs. bad taste.

John Waters Presents: Films of Bad Taste includes the musical parody Cry-Baby starring Johnny Depp and Ricki Lake, black comedy melodrama Polyester headlined by Tab Hunter, infamous midnight movie hit Pink Flamingos with Divine, original dance classic Hairspray starring Deborah Harry, Sonny Bono and Ruth Brown, and the hilarious sexploitation drama A Dirty Shame with Tracey Ullman and Johnny Knoxville.

“World Movies is the perfect home for John Waters’ critically-acclaimed yet sometimes reviled films. We are thrilled to bring this handpicked selection of Mr Waters’ most notorious films to our audiences in this week-long retrospective,” said World Movies General Manager Chris Keely.
