Foxtel has confirmed season two of Kevin Spacey’s critically acclaimed drama House Of Cards will premiere in Australia at the exact same time it becomes available in the US.
In a move designed to combat the growing trend of Australians signing up for US Netflix accounts, Foxtel will premiere episode one of the political drama at 12:00pm EDST – 15th of February on the Showcase Channel. This is the same time that the episode will become available in the US to Netflix subsribers.
At the same time as episode one airs on TV all 13 episodes of Season 2 will be made available to stream online via Foxtel’s OnDemand service allowing customers to binge watch the series.
The remanding 12 episodes of season 2 will also air at 8:30pm Saturday nights on Showcase.
