Jim Jefferies is the latest famous face getting thoroughly stitched up by Glenn Robbins and Mick Molloy, with the international comedy star fronting Glenn & Mick’s Celebrity Intervention next week.
After Mick Fanning’s turn in the hot seat this week, Seven has confirmed Jefferies will become the seventh celebrity tackled by the series, with Lawrence Mooney joining the panel as special guest co host.
The cheeky setup promises another chaotic look at the highs, lows and stories The 1% Club Australia host would probably rather keep buried.
Rhys Darby and Lisa Vanderpump are among the famous friends weighing in during the episode, while the panel also digs into Jefferies’ bananaphobia, punch ons with fans and his legal clash with The Village People.
The episode also takes aim at claims the comedian has gone “more Hollywood than Peter Allen” since building his career overseas.
Glenn & Mick’s Celebrity Intervention sees Glenn Robbins and Mick Molloy lure well known personalities into the studio before friends, family and colleagues revisit the moments that shaped their lives and careers.
Since premiering last month, the series has already put Guy Sebastian, Carrie Bickmore, Sam Pang, Dr Chris Brown, Dave ‘Hughesy’ Hughes and most recently Mick Fanning under the microscope, with famous faces close to each star helping revisit career highs, awkward moments and personal quirks.
The series is produced by Molloy Boy Productions for the Seven Network, with Mick Molloy, Richard Molloy and Greg Sitch serving as Executive Producers.
