It was an emotional night on Farmer Wants A Wife as Farmer Jarrad opened his heart and made his final decision, choosing Chloe in a heartfelt moment that capped off a whirlwind journey.

Elsewhere, a steamy massage date between Farmer Thomas and Ellen caused awkward tension at the dinner table, pushing Clarette to breaking point.

And while some farmers took bold steps forward in their search for love, next week promises to shake things up with the arrival of brand-new ladies hoping to turn heads.

“We go together like cold beer and country music” – Farmer Jarrad finds his happily ever after with Chloe

Last night on Farmer Wants A Wife: Farmer Jarrad found his happily ever after with bartender Chloe, while Farmer Thomas’ steamy date with Ellen strained his relationship with Clarette.

Host Natalie Gruzlewski instructed the ladies to design a date their farmer would love. Each farmer would then choose their favourite date without knowing who was behind the idea.

Farmer Corey was won over by Jadee’s date of drinks and darts, with Jadee hoping a series of questions attached to their game would help her get to know the farmer better.

Surprised at how much they had in common and sensing their smouldering chemistry, Corey pulled Jadee in for a kiss. It was the perfect end to the date for Jadee. “I can’t wipe the smile off my face,” she said. “It was such a lovely afternoon.”

Emma was thrilled to secure her first date with Farmer Tom. Choosing to explore their creative sides, Emma organised a picnic and an afternoon of painting which ended with the pair sharing a kiss.

Still nursing a broken heart after Claire’s departure, Farmer Thomas chose Ellen’s date that promised a massage to “knead out some knots” and help him unwind from a big day.

A qualified massage therapist, Ellen transformed the barn into a candlelit haven that clearly impressed the farmer.

Massage, bathtub, chocolate, strawberries – this date was definitely one of the most romantic that someone has organised for me,” said Thomas.

“I think there could be feelings developing with Ellen. I definitely want to explore that a bit more.”

But when Thomas and Ellen arrived at dinner after their steamy date, Ellen was still wearing her swimwear which made Clarette visibly uncomfortable. “I thought they would have been clothed when they came back for dinner, but they weren’t.”

During dinner, Clarette quizzed the pair on their date wanting to know every detail, and later admitted in a piece to camera that it was hard to hear about the pair sharing a bath.

Down to his final two ladies, Farmer Jarrad met Chloe and Ash’s families, hoping this would help him in his decision making.

Despite having strong affections for both ladies, Jarrad announced bartender Chloe had won his heart, saying the pair went together like “cold beer and country music.”

“I love how you push me to want to be a better man and I’m falling for you, and I do hope you are ready to catch me because I would be honoured to have you by my side.”

“I will do my best to be better every day because from this day on, I would like to spend every day with you.”

An elated and emotional Chloe described the moment as a “pretty surreal” before joking with Jarrad that her engagement finger was currently “vacant real estate.”

Monday night on Farmer Wants A Wife: The farmers are in for a big surprise as host Natalie Gruzlewski introduces a brand-new group of ladies ready to steal our farmers’ hearts.

Farmer Wants A Wife continues 7.30pm Mondays and Tuesdays on Seven and 7plus

      • Vania Vania I would NOT believe them! This is people’s lives they are playing with and I know I wouldn’t want to be responsible for them to do anything to themselves! I know you have your thoughts but I have my feelings that this could push them to suicide!

      • Vania Vania This World is getting crueller and the love and compassion sure has gone! Thank God I dont have much time left but I worry about my Grand children’s futures. That is NOT guiding them on the right path! Internet is vicious for everyone!

      • Glenda Eaton oh rubbish, just because people are saying they have broken it off, will not push them to suicide.

      • Glenda Eaton lol no they aren’t!!

Just days after their happy ending aired on TV, the pair’s relationship appears to have soured.

Saddled up next to his chosen lady, Jarrad Wrigley ended his Farmer Wants A Wife journey last Tuesday night by claiming giddily that “this farmer may have found his wife” in Queensland bartender Chloe Mehring

However, unfortunately for the pair and their love story, it appears the cows have already come home, with a source spilling that their love crop went rotten just days after they wrapped filming!

They were together just a few days before Chloe and Jarrad both realised this was never going to be a long-term thing,” the insider tells Woman’s Day.
“Jarrad apparently had a master plan from the get-go following his FWAW exit. While many within the Stanthorpe community, where he lives, know he was open to finding love, he made no secret this was also going to help his country music career. So he jumped in headfirst and in the end had a bit of fun.”

“They were together just a few days before Chloe and Jarrad both realised this was never going to be a long-term thing,” the insider tells Woman’s Day.

We hear the 21-year-old sheep farmer and up-and-coming musician’s break-up was due to a combination of wanting to put his music first, and still being hung up on his ex, fellow country music singer Tyla Rodrigues, who he met back in 2022 when they were both busking at the Tamworth Music Festival.

It didn’t take long for 21-year-old Chloe – who we hear genuinely went on the show to fall in love with a farmer – to realise “Jarrad’s heart belonged elsewhere”, with our source adding she soon “packed up her stuff and headed back to her old life”.

“She honestly thought she and Jarrad might be the new Rob [Hodges] and Jo [Fincham] [from season two] or even [season 11’s] Jess [Nathan] and Andrew [Guthrie] – but sadly things didn’t work out. She took it hard but she’s the sort of girl who gets back in the saddle and gets on with it,” adds the source.
Earlier on in the season, Woman’s Day revealed that Jarrad may have been a little more interested in gaining an album of love songs rather than a love interest out of the Farmer experience.

And this seems to be all but confirmed with the news that he’s been hard at work on the local tour circuit since he finished filming last year, seemingly eager to capitalise on his newly found

  1. Shame they didn’t stay together I said he was there for his music and nothing else but he shaw did cry a lot of crocodile tears 🤠🤔🤔

    • Debra Gruisinga and even if he did who’s cares, most of the people that go on these shows that’s what it’s all about, Jarrad is a respectful young man who’s got one hell of a musical talent so why can’t he promote his music while on national TV where else would he get that exposure, do yourself a favour before trying to bring him down go to one of his shows

      • Jo Downey Yes. Read an article on them yesterday. He is our Rodeoing again & having a good time! I don’t know how Chloe would be coping!

      • Maree Saunders OMG that is so sad after all, he doesn’t deserve any lady his a single type of man. I feel for Chloe. My ex-husband cheated on me. I know how she would feel. I hope she leaves him before she gets to hooked on him if it’s not too late. 😥

      • Maree Saunders lol read an article it really makes me laugh I’ve read articles and know they are full of it just like a blogger saying the have proof at cmc and the photos are Jarrad walking with a male friend and then Jarrad on his own ahh proof ?? And if you’re going by women’s day yeah give that one away.

  2. Another one gone down the plug hole.. Bring back the genuine farmers from the earlier series…they were worth watching .🧐

  3. Didn’t think it would last he is a 22 yr old male traveling around to work and playing music in pubs he isn’t ready to settle down

  4. They have split up after 3 days after they left the show.
