The premiere, featuring the first two episodes, is set to make a global debut on Thursday, 8 February 2024.

The upcoming season promises to heighten the stakes, with Pablo Schreiber reprising his role as Master Chief John-117, leading a team of elite Spartans in a relentless battle against the alien Covenant. Following a pivotal incident on a desolate planet, John senses a seismic shift in the war’s trajectory. David Wiener, serving as both showrunner and executive producer, continues to helm the series. Halo builds on the universe introduced by Xbox® in 2001, dramatising a 26th-century conflict between humans and the Covenant. The series masterfully blends personal narratives with thrilling action and a vivid portrayal of the future.

Alongside Schreiber, the cast features Natascha McElhone as Dr. Halsey, with both actors also contributing as producers this season. The ensemble includes familiar faces like Jen Taylor, Bokeem Woodbine, Shabana Azmi, Natasha Culzac, Olive Gray, Yerin Ha, Bentley Kalu, Kate Kennedy, Charlie Murphy, and Danny Sapani.

Season two introduces new cast members, including Joseph Morgan, Cristina Rodlo, and Christina Bennington, alongside returning regulars Fiona O’Shaughnessy and Tylan Bailey.

Halo is a production of SHOWTIME® in collaboration with 343 Industries and Amblin Television. The executive production team for the second season comprises David Wiener, Steven Spielberg, Darryl Frank, Justin Falvey, Kiki Wolfkill, Otto Bathurst, Toby Leslie, and Gian Paolo Varani.

As Paramount+ gears up for the launch of Halo‘s second season, audiences worldwide eagerly anticipate its return, marking another significant milestone in the evolving narrative of this iconic franchise.
