Channel 10 not even in the hunt. Again. AGAIN.


Channel 7

The Big Bash League kicked off with a solid performance for Seven, BBL13: Brisbane Heat vs Melbourne Stars (318,000 (PER on 7mate)). It helped them to the night win however couldn’t take the primetime slot.

Seven first in both primary (20.1%) and network (29.6%) rankings.

Channel 9

A Current Affair (491,000) launched Nine’s night as their best, with a new clip-show that was Great Getaways (298,000). Repeats of RPA (220,000) and Big Miracles (97,000) followed by new Chicago Med (64,000) completed the rest of the evening.

Nine second in both primary (17.3%) and network (26.9%) rankings.


ABC

7:30 (358,000) and the finale of Bill Bailey’s Wild West Australia (383,000) worked together to gift the ABC the primetime slot win. After that, repeats of Grand Designs (268,000), Miriam Margolyes: Almost Australian (158,000), and The Way We Wore (35,000) filled out the night.

ABC third in both primary (13.8%) and network (20.2%) rankings.


Channel 10

The Project (115,000 6:30pm; 183,000 7pm) was 10’s best by a country mile (and that’s saying something). Jamie’s Five Ingredient Mediterranean (138,000) captured only a very small audience, followed by a repeat of Law & Order: SVU (84,000), a new ep of The Hunt for the Family Court Killer (74,000), and then another repeat of Blue Bloods (46,000).

10 fourth in both primary (6.3%) and network (14.9%) rankings.

SBS

SBS had a slow night that started with Secret World of Snacks (88,000) that then rounded out with Adam and Poh’s Great Australian Bites (62,000) and the double-ep premiere of The Doll Factory (37,000 avg).

SBS fifth in both primary (3.9%) and network (8.4%) rankings.


KEY DEMOS

16-39: Nine News 6:30pm (65,000) beat Nine News 6pm, BBL13, and Seven News 6:30pm/6pm.

18-49: Nine News 6:30pm (102,000) led Nine News 6pm, Seven News 6:30pm, BBL13, and Seven News 6pm.

25-54: Seven News 6:30pm (142,000) was followed by Seven News 6pm, Nine News 6:30pm/6pm, and BBL13.


MULTI-CHANNELS

Spicks and Specks – EV rpt (103,000) on ABC Kids/TV Plus led the multi-channel offerings.

No changes to the previous week’s primetime line-up after the Total TV figures were added: RBT (Nine) lifted 7% to 665,000; Code 1: Minute by Minute (Seven) lifted 8% to 484,000; and Jamie’s 5 Ingredient Mediterranean (10) lifted 6% to 241,000.

The BVOD best was Love Island Australia (292,000).
