In a move that bolsters its content aggregation platform, Fetch TV has now incorporated Apple TV+ into its service offerings.
This integration heralds a new chapter for Fetch TV as it continues to position itself as a comprehensive media hub, aptly branded as “The Way to Watch.”
Apple TV+‘s roster features a spectrum of original programming, from gripping drama series to documentaries and children’s shows. Among its offerings are the critically acclaimed productions “Silo,” “Hijack,” and “Foundation,” as well as the award-winning “Ted Lasso” and “Morning Wars.”
The service is also preparing to launch a slate of high-profile films, including Martin Scorsese‘s “Killers of the Flower Moon” and “Napoleon,” directed by Ridley Scott and starring Joaquin Phoenix.
Sam Hall, Fetch TV‘s Chief Content and Commercial Officer, underscored the value addition brought by Apple TV+:
“Apple TV+ has quickly established itself as a market leading SVOD service with some of the most acclaimed and buzzworthy content available anywhere.
Fetch is committed to providing a compelling aggregation experience and no platform is complete without Apple TV+.
We know Fetch users will be delighted with the addition, and we look forward to further solidifying our position as ‘The Way to Watch.’”
Subscription to Apple TV+ is available on Fetch Mighty and Fetch Mini 4K devices, priced at A$12.99 per month, inclusive of GST, with an initial 7-day free trial offered to new subscribers.
However, it is noted that Apple TV+ will not be accessible on older Fetch Mini Gen 3 or Gen 2 hardware. Post-trial, the subscription will renew automatically on a monthly basis unless cancelled.
The arrangement enhances Fetch TV‘s existing suite, which amalgamates Free-to-Air, FAST, subscription channels, Broadcast Video on Demand (BVOD) apps, and leading Subscription Video on Demand (SVOD) services.
Universal search functionality, a singular remote control, and user-friendly features such as “Ways to watch” and “My Stuff” streamline the viewing experience, allowing seamless navigation and access to a broad spectrum of content.
