SHARK TANK AUSTRALIA is proving to be more of an anchor for Channel 10’s schedule.


Channel 9

A Current Affair (648,000) remained unchallenged at 7pm for Nine; similarly The Block (657,000) though it did drop 100k on Monday’s reveal ep. A repeat of Space Invaders (231,000) followed, before Stan original Love Triangle (73,000) and a repeat of New Amsterdam (35,000) finished the night.

Nine first in primary (21.3%) and second in network (28.8%) rankings.

Channel 7

Home & Away (466,000) dropped on last night’s peak, as did SAS Australia (458,000) for Seven, though it still drew a competitive audience. HMP: Behind Bars (156,000) and Chicago Fire (45,000) kept few entertained as the evening wound down.

Seven second in primary (20.7%) and first in network (30.1%) rankings.


ABC

7:30 (436,000) and the season two premiere of Take 5 with Zan Rowe (321,000) nabbed third in the primetime slot, before Old People’s Home for Teenagers (309,000) brought home the later primetime win. Australia After War (129,000) and a repeat of Four Corners (47,000) closed out the late night.

ABC third in both primary (12.4%) and network (17.7%) rankings.


Channel 10

The Project (144,000 6:30pm; 222,000 7pm) slipped marginally on the previous night, while Shark Tank Australia (227,000) couldn’t better the previous week’s audience either and ended up fourth in the timeslot. The Cheap Seats (291,000) continued to be a high point for 10 however was pushed into second place by the ABC’s offering, and repeats of NCIS (127,000) and NCIS: Hawaii (56,000) drew much smaller audiences after.

10 fourth in both primary (9.2%) and network (15.2%) rankings.

SBS

A repeat of Who Do You Think You Are? Australia (153,000) led the evening for SBS, before it turned to current affairs staples Insight (113,000) and Dateline (72,000).

SBS fifth in both primary (4.6%) and network (8.2%) rankings.


KEY DEMOS

16-39: The Block (143,000) led Nine News 6:30pm/6pm, A Current Affair, and Seven News 6:30pm.

18-49: The Block (216,000) beat Seven News 6:30pm/6pm, SAS Australia, and Nine News 6:30pm.

25-54: The Block (286,000) lands another triple-demo win for Nine, followed by Seven News 6:30pm, Nine News 6pm/6:30pm, and Seven News 6pm.


MULTI-CHANNELS

Interstella Ella – EV (97,000) takes another multi-channel win for ABC Kids/TV Plus.

No changes to the previous week’s primetime line-up after the Total TV figures were added: The Block (Nine) lifted 36% to 1,307,000; MKR – Grand Final (Seven) lifted 24% to 1,151,000; and Shark Tank Australia (10) lifted 17% to 418,000.

The BVOD best were The Block (275,000), MKR – Grand Final (142,000), and Home and Away (135,000).
