Tuesdays, man. Tuesdays.

Channel 7

After Home & Away (497,000) it continues to be a wrestle in primetime, with Seven again taking the win with MKR (567,000) which delivered its highest rating episode season-to-date. RFDS (283,000) also jostles with its commercial competitors and while it came in third it is picking up good numbers a week later in the Total TV report (see below). Ob doc Ambulance: Code Red (113,000) and US drama Chicago Fire (42,000) filled out Seven’s emergency-based programming afterwards.

Seven first in both primary (23.3%) and network (32%) rankings.

Channel 9

A Current Affair (664,000) and The Block (559,000) forged ahead for Nine, lifting on last night yet getting bopped by its primary rival. The Hundred with Andy Lee (304,000) slipped on last week, though in the busy-ness of the 8:40pm-ish slot it wrestled out a solid second place. Season one of Stan’s Love Triangle (108,000) continued to eek out a small crowd, before a repeat of New Amsterdam (34,000) ran out the schedule.

Nine second in both primary (20.7%) and network (27.7%) rankings.

ABC

7:30 (462,000) and Kitchen Cabinet (384,000) did their best to pick up the ABC’s Tuesday and lifted it into third place in the slot. Lily’s Life Hacks (201,000) drew a small crowd, as did Makers of Modern Australia (138,000). Invictus Games Highlights: Dusseldorf (29,000) closed out the late night.

ABC third in primary (10.9%) and fourth in network (15.1%) rankings.

Channel 10

The Project (185,000 6:30pm; 316,000 7pm) has entered a purple patch where particularly the 7pm half hour is performing much better. The same can’t be said about Shark Tank Australia (261,000) which pushes but fails to compete for 10. The same can’t be said for The Cheap Seats (330,000) which is batting well above its weight and drawing a slot-winning audience afterwards, eclipsing its lead-in. Repeats of NCIS (69,000) and NCIS: Hawaii (46,000) fill out the lonely hours.

10 fourth in primary (10.1%) and third in network (16.3%) rankings.
