A much-awaited update for Aussie fans of the romantic comedy Starstruck: the show’s third series premieres tonight, 6 September, at 9.30pm on ABC TV and ABC iview.

Rose Matafeo returns to her role as Jessie, a cinema employee residing in London. The new series picks up two years after Jessie’s break-up with her former beau, film star Tom, portrayed by Nikesh Patel.

Matafeo, along with co-writers Alice Snedden and Nic Sampson, has penned the scripts for the latest series. Notably, both Matafeo and Snedden make their directorial debuts in this season.
