The stage is set for the 2023 NRL Finals, and Channel 9HD and 9Now are the exclusive platforms where you can catch every kick, tackle, and try.

Starting this Friday at 7:00pm, the chase for the premiership trophy is well and truly on.

Eight formidable teams, including the top-dog Panthers and Brisbane Broncos, have emerged as contenders for the title. Not to be overlooked are the Warriors, Storm, Sharks, Knights, Roosters, and Raiders, each brimming with talent and ambition.

Channel 9 pulls out all stops with its commentary panel, boasting rugby league legends like Andrew Johns, Cameron Smith, and Johnathan Thurston among others. With such expert insight, fans are in for comprehensive analysis of the game.

Friday night lights will be brighter than ever as the Broncos face off against the Storm in Brisbane at 7:00pm. The Storm, boasting a strong lineup including Cameron Munster and Harry Grant, have an impressive track record at Suncorp Stadium. Yet, the Broncos, fueled by rising stars Reece Walsh and Pat Carrigan, appear keen to rewrite history.

Saturday is packed with live NRL action, commencing at 11:00am. The day kicks off with an NRLW double-header leading to the Panthers v Warriors qualifying final at 3:15pm. The Warriors, led by playmaker Shaun Johnson, are looking to upset the Panthers on their home turf, adding a layer of intrigue to the contest.

And then, as the sun sets, the Sharks and the Roosters will duke it out in a high-stakes elimination match. The stakes couldn’t be higher, and both teams are ready to leave it all on the field for a shot at week two.

Sunday’s highlight is a battle of epic proportions as Kalyn Ponga‘s Knights defend their home ground against the Raiders. The game is a sell-out affair, with the Knights enjoying a nine-game winning streak, their longest since 2001. However, the Raiders, led by Jack Wighton, are determined to defy the odds.

The face of Channel 9’s coverage is James Bracey, alongside Danika Mason, with pitch-side reports from Emma Lawrence. This star-studded line-up ensures fans won’t miss a moment of the action.
