The primetime hour could have landed one of four ways (not so much after that).

Channel 9

Nine started the night with A Current Affair (669,000) again winning its slot, and The Block (541,000) again coming second in its slot. Under Investigation (385,000) returned to a win, as the schedule then split for a repeat of Dream Listing Byron Bay (86,000 BNE/SYD) and Footy Classified (131,000 MEL/ADL/PER). The night finished with a unified schedule and an ep of The Equalizer (51,000).

Nine first in primary (21.9%) and second in network (29.6%) rankings.

Channel 7

Seven find Home & Away (431,000) consistent though struggling to break the 500k barrier, whereas The Voice Australia (589,000) remains unchallenged in the primetime slot. A double ep premiere of Without Sin (190,000; 114,000) ran through the rest of the night to a smaller audience.

Seven second in primary (21.6%) and first in network (28.9%) rankings.

ABC

7:30 (459,000) and Hard Quiz (497,000) combine to offer the ABC a solid start to the night, while the premiere of Mother and Son (441,000) gets a good start, with the season finale of Gold Diggers (168,000) following in behind. Repeats of Would I Lie To You? (171,000), QI (117,000), and Magda’s Big National Health Check (23,000) close out the late night.

ABC third in both primary (12.5%) and network (16.7%) rankings.

Channel 10

The Project (166,000 6:30pm; 276,000 7pm) sees a bump as the lead-in to a returning Thank God You’re Here (442,000)…even though it was down a little on its last outing. Inspired Unemployed (Impractical) Jokers (224,000) continued to draw its audience, as did Five Bedrooms (109,000), before slipping to So Help Me Todd (62,000) and a repeat of FBI (42,000).

10 fourth in both primary (9.8%) and network (16%) rankings.

SBS

SBS fifth in both primary (4.3%) and network (8.9%) rankings.
