Young viewers are set to journey through prehistory with the premier of Play School’s captivating new series, ‘Dinosaur Roar.’
The series is set to air its first episode on ABC Kids and ABC iview at 9am, Monday 17 July.
Featuring the innovative Play School approach, the series is tipped to inspire budding paleontologists by exploring the formidable world of prehistoric creatures, including Tyrannosaurus Rex and the intriguing polar dinosaurs. Central to the show will be the Play School Dino Museum where children will ‘stomp, prowl, and growl’ their way around the ‘Creature Carousel,’ uncovering a variety of exciting discoveries each day.
Guiding the journey through the cretaceous period and beyond will be Play School’s team of presenters, alongside special guest Tim, an experienced paleontologist. His expertise will add depth to the rich educational content provided by the show.
The series, supervised by Natalie Robinson-Hurst and produced by Anna Allbury and Karin Fitzhardinge, will not only introduce children to various dinosaur species but also ignite their curiosity about the mystery and wonder of fossils.
In the words of the producers, the new Dinosaur Roar series promises to be ‘roar-some’ entertainment with a unique educational spin. Parents and educators alike are sure to welcome this new addition to ABC’s programming lineup.
