They all return with a late-night episode of Fantasy Island (37,000).

ABC

7:30 (396,000) and A Life In Ten Pictures (263,000) led the ABC’s night, followed by Grand Designs New Zealand (191,000) and One Plus One – The Elders (95,000). Repeats of Art Works (46,000) and The Black Hand (DNR) close out the night.

ABC third in primary (9.3%) and fourth in network (13.8%) rankings.


Channel 10

The Project (183,000 6:30pm; 272,000 7pm) and MasterChef Australia (380,000) maintain their Thursday average for both programs though land at the lowest audience for the week. The First Inventors (126,000) runs into a repeat of The Cheap Seats (87,000) and then (another) episode of Law & Order: SVU (48,000).

10 fourth in primary (8.5%) and third in network (14.3%) rankings.

SBS

Solid night for SBS with Inside Sydney Airport (122,000) building into Devil’s Confession: Lost Eichmann Tapes (76,000), which then ends with the double ep final of Normal People (DNR).

SBS fifth in both primary (3.5%) and network (8.2%) rankings.


KEY DEMOS

16-39: The Ashes: Second Test Day 2 S1 (122,000) led The Ashes: Second Test Day 2 Lunch, Nine News 6pm, The Ashes: Second Test Day 2 S2, and Nine News 6:30pm.

18-49: The Ashes: Second Test Day 2 S1 (217,000) beat The Ashes: Second Test Day 2 Lunch, Nine News 6pm/6:30pm, and Seven News 6:30pm.

25-54: The Ashes: Second Test Day 2 S1 (272,000) lands a triple-demo win, followed by Nine News 6:30pm/6pm, The Ashes: Second Test Day 2 Lunch, and Seven News 6pm.

Three changes to the previous week’s primetime line-up after the Total TV figures were added: MasterChef Australia (10) lifted 31% to 710,000; Women’s State Of Origin (Nine) lifted 14% to 621,000; and Seven’s AFL: Thursday Night Football (Seven) lifted 1% to 591,000.

The BVOD best were Home and Away (141,000) and MasterChef Australia (100,000).
