As Supercars gear up for the much-anticipated Darwin Triple Crown and the Repco Supercars Championship Indigenous Round, Channel 7, 7mate, and 7plus are set to provide live and free coverage of the event.
Fans are in for a remarkable celebration of First Nations’ culture intertwined with thrilling motorsport action, with teams set to reveal a range of stunning new liveries.
Seven’s resident motorsport expert, Mark Beretta, alongside Super2 driver Jack Perkins, will lead the live coverage from the Hidden Valley Raceway. The action-packed weekend begins at midday this Saturday and extends into a second five-hour telecast on Sunday afternoon.
Mark Beretta expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming event, stating,
“Darwin is one of the most anticipated rounds of the year. The drivers, the teams, and the fans all look forward to the racing and the great weather. All the pressure will be on competition frontrunner, Brodie Kostecki, to maintain his lead.”
Supercars legends Garth Tander, Mark Skaife, and Craig Lowndes are set to join Neil Crompton in the 7SPORT commentary box. Meanwhile, fan favourites Mark Larkham, Chad Nylon, and Riana Crehan will provide detailed insights into all the pit lane drama.
As the fifth stop on the Championship tour approaches, young guns Kostecki and Will Brown are projected to continue their solid performances after their podium finish at the Tasmanian SuperSprint. Kostecki leads the Championship, holding an 87-point advantage over Brown. Chad Mostert trails a further 79 points behind, sitting third in the standings.
The Darwin Triple Crown, the only Supercars event to feature drag racing, will also include Nitro Up North – the grand finale of the Australian Top Fuel Championship. This high-adrenaline race will be broadcast live and free on 7plus from 5.30pm AEST on Saturday.
Fans can tune into the full broadcast live and free on Channel 7, 7mate, and 7plus. The full replay, along with Supercars highlights, documentaries, and other bonus content, will be available on catch-up on 7plus.
