I mean…ouch…

Channel 9

A Current Affair (637,000) offers a good head start to Nine, which Parental Guidance (420,000) maintains second though delicately balancing with not massive numbers. Afterwards, a repeat of Million Dollar Murders (206,000) then new Chicago Med (89,000) and See No Evil (61,000) fill out the schedule.

Nine first in primary (18.5%) and second in network (26.2%) rankings.

Channel 7

Home & Away (481,000) is Seven’s best by far, as Million Dollar Island Australia (273,000) now looks to only crash further and further as it solidifies its fourth place behind the ABC in primetime (pushing on fifth). US dramas The Rookie (164,000), The Rookie: Feds (119,000), and The Blacklist (41,000) offer fan service par excellence.

Seven second in primary (17.8%) and first in network (26.9%) rankings.

Channel 10

The Project (175,000 6:30pm; 285,000 7pm) continues to be in buoyant places for 10 ratings-wise, thanks to MasterChef Australia (501,000) performing reliably and again taking primetime for the second night in row, as much as The Cheap Seats (395,000) also owning the following slot without ratings peer. Repeats of NCIS (115,000) and North Shore (46,000) flow into the late night.

10 third in both primary (12.9%) and network (19.4%) rankings.

ABC

7:30 (444,000) and The ABC Of Wendy Harmer (329,000) benefit more from the failure of MDI though do draw a solid audience ahead of The Platypus Guardian (291,000) and The Homes that Built Australia (164,000). A repeat of Four Corners (30,000) finishes the evening.

ABC fourth in both primary (11.7%) and network (17%) rankings.

SBS

Who Do You Think You Are? Australia (206,000) opens for SBS’s excellent-though-under-appreciated current affairs double of Insight (175,000) and Dateline (146,000).

SBS fifth in both primary (6.2%) and network (10.5%) rankings.
