A solid night for 10; patchy for everyone else.

Channel 7

A stronger ep of Home & Away (495,000) loses momentum when followed by a repeat of Highway Patrol Special (361,000). Sister US dramas The Rookie (245,000) and The Rookie: Feds (175,000) find their fanbase before a repeat of Crime Investigation Australia: Most Infamous (67,000) finishes the schedule. Blow Up Australia (DNR) continues to deflate into obscurity on 7flix.

Seven first in both primary (19.3%) and network (27.8%) rankings.

Channel 9

Nine opens with their best by far in A Current Affair (671,000) that almost halves to The Summit (413,000), lifting into second place in primetime though only through lack of real competition. Expedition Everest (151,000) misjudges the audience interest in mountain-based drama, as evening airings of new eps of Chicago Med (68,000) and See No Evil (43,000) don’t add much.

Nine second in both primary (18.4%) and network (25.5%) rankings.

Channel 10

10 will be very happy with their Tuesday night as The Project (216,000 6:30pm; 313,000 7pm) continues to offer a good lead into MasterChef Australia (482,000) which took the primetime win, followed by The Cheap Seats (388,000) which won its slot convincingly also. NCIS (128,000) and a repeat of North Shore (48,000) see that audience diminish in the late night.

10 third in both primary (13.6%) and network (20.4%) rankings.

ABC

The ABC lead with a reasonably-though-soft audience for 7:30 (423,000) and The ABC Of Miranda Tapsell (265,000), that lifted very slightly for Ningaloo Nyinggulu (268,000). The Homes that Built Australia (164,000) and a repeat of Four Corners (30,000) close out the evening.

ABC fourth in both primary (11.7%) and network (16.5%) rankings.

SBS

A smaller audience for SBS with Who Do You Think You Are? Australia (195,000), and current affairs programs Insight (130,000) and Dateline (95,000).

SBS fifth in both primary (5.7%) and network (9.8%) rankings.
