Madeline Spark is on a road trip along the Great Ocean Road to the beautiful seaside town of Lorne (Gadubanud Country). Upon arrival she takes a walk on the Lorne Pier, famous for the Pier to Pub swimming race every January. She heads into the Lorne Pier Art Bazaar, where a pair of local artists showcase their love of the area with art and collectibles. Madeline then has a bite at the Great Ocean Road Bakery, which is renowned for its scallop pies. She finishes the day with a round of golf at Lorne Country Club, and shows viewers where to find the best views in town.

Brodie Harper checks out one of Queensland’s leading weekend away destinations, Montville (Gubbi Gubbi Country). First up she visits Chocolate Country, famous for locally made luxury Belgian chocolates. At Flame Hill Vineyard, a winery 420 metres above sea level, she enjoys a local vintage and a delicious paddock-to-plate experience. Brodie winds up at the new Mater Home lottery house which is up for grabs for one lucky winner.

Lauren Phillips takes viewers to Docklands (Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung and Boonwurrung Country). After coffee and loaded panini at the Italian eatery Saluministi, she walks across Webb Bridge and settles in at The Espressonist for brunch and a cocktail. To burn off some calories, she has a hit at Game4Padel, Melbourne’s first courts for padel tennis, which is played on a smaller court with different rules, strokes and techniques.

Meanwhile, we find Livinia Nixon exploring the back streets of Richmond (Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung Country). From the Rowena Corner Store, a local cafe and food store with a Mediterranean vintage vibe, she takes a brisk walk to another neighbourhood treasure, Lindberg Galleries. She finishes by brushing up on the art of Italian cooking at the La Cucina di Sandra school run by Melbourne chef Sandra Del Greco from her Richmond kitchen.

From stunning seaside towns to inner-city delights, catch POSTCARDS Sunday May 14 at 5.30pm on CHANNEL 9 & 9NOW.
