Endemol Shine Australia has this week published a casting call seeking enthusiastic contestants for a new, untitled renovation show featuring a “life changing” cash prize.
While the network producing this new production is yet to be confirmed, the casting call comes at the same time as rumours are rife that the Seven Network is developing a new renovation series to be hosted by its latest big-name recruit, Dr Chris Brown.
The casting notice invites eager participants to join the competition, where they will have the chance to transform their house into a luxurious abode for free. But that’s not all—the show also offers a life-changing cash prize for the lucky winner.
The production company emphasises that no professional building or trade experience is required to participate. Instead, they are looking for contestants who possess a keen eye for design and a willingness to get their hands dirty.
Channel 7 confirmed back in February that it signed a deal to poach the popular TV vet away from his long-time home at Channel 10. Seven has so far has been reluctant to reveal any details regarding what projects Brown will be working on for the network.
At the time of the announcement, Seven West Media managing director and chief executive officer, James Warburton, said:

“Chris is one of the most popular and recognised people on Australian TV, bringing warmth, intelligence and a great sense of humour to everything he does. We can’t wait to have him on board and to announce the great new content he will star in.”
