Channel 9 has announced the launch of a brand-new digital-exclusive series, ‘Dickie’s Diaries,’ presented by Entertainment Editor Richard “Dickie” Wilkins.
The video series, exclusive to 9Honey, showcases Wilkins’ most memorable celebrity encounters and moments from his four-decade career at Nine, shared in his engaging storytelling style.
With a wealth of experience from interviewing top stars, attending major events and concerts worldwide, Wilkins has incredible stories to share. For the first time, these tales have been captured on video and will be released weekly on 9Honey. Expect to hear about his unexpected interview with Madonna, the cringe-worthy encounter with Hugh Grant, and a heartbreaking question he never had the chance to ask.
The series features Wilkins at his best, sharing candid, hilarious and sometimes devastating stories that only he can provide.
Reflecting on his experiences, Richard Wilkins said he feels blessed to be in his role and is ready to embrace being on the other side of the questions with 9Honey’s investigative team.
“I’m proud of what we do and I genuinely feel blessed to find myself in this role. No two days have ever been the same and long may that continue. So with that in mind, obviously I’m more comfortable asking the questions than answering them.
However I did agree to let my guard down and be grilled mercilessly by the investigative team at 9Honey, so it’s my turn to face the music.”
