Eliminations have commenced in the South African jungle, marking a somber moment for the remaining campmates.
Before saying goodbye, a couple of campmates faced their fears in the Viper Room trial. Dom Calarco was buried alive in a pit of corn and attacked by 65 snakes while Ian ‘Dicko’ Dickson , a judge on Australian Idol, had snakes dropped on him every minute with his head in a cage. To win meals for the camp, Dicko had to describe celebrities in three words for Dom to guess.
After the trial, Dom returned to camp with popcorn kernels in various places, leading to Adam demanding snake-urine-soaked kernels be cooked into popcorn in the pot immediately. While some of the campmates were skeptical, they agreed that the snake-flavored popcorn tasted surprisingly good.
Debra reminisced with Woody about the success of previous Home and Away stars like Heath Ledger, Chris Hemsworth, Isla Fisher, and Melissa George in Hollywood. The campmates also discussed opposing views on same-sex marriage.
Sadly, the jungle lights dimmed for Anna Polyviou and Bianca Hunt, who were eliminated from the show. Both had infectious laughs and left their mark on the campmates.
Anna, a pink-haired celebrity chef, clashed with Dicko over meals on occasion but made everyone laugh with her sense of humor. Meanwhile, TV presenter Bianca Hunt had deep and meaningful conversations with her fellow campmates, discussing the importance of representation of people of color in the media.
Australian actress and television personality Debra Lawrance comforted her fellow contestants as emotions ran high.
In the next trial, campmates will compete to determine who has the “Balls of Steel,” with either Adam or Aesha selected by recently eliminated campmates Anna and Bianca.
Dom Sheed was buried alive in a pit of corn …. um, I think you’ve got that wrong!!
Hi Dr Chris – oops! Thanks. 😉
