Seven go large with Seven’s AFL: Thursday Night Football (401,000 (322,000 Seven MEL/ADL; 79,000 7mate BNE/SYD/PER))

Nine’s night starts with A Current Affair (401,000 (Not BNE)) and then splits:
Thursday Night NRL Live (339,000 (310,000 Nine BNE/SYD; 29,000 9Gem MEL/ADL/PER))
Thursday Night Knock-Off (105,000 Nine BNE/SYD)
OR
RBT (182,000 (144,000 Nine MEL/ADL/PER; 38,000 9Gem BNE/SYD))
Paramedics (132,000 (101,000 Nine MEL/ADL/PER; 31,000 9Gem BNE/SYD))
Australia Behind Bars (75,000 Nine MEL/ADL/PER).
It all comes back together with A+E After Dark (62,000).

Nine second in both primary (18.9%) and network (25.7%) rankings.


ABC

7:30 (402,000) and Foreign Correspondent (300,000) offers a solid audience on a Thursday for the ABC (given the sporting competition), followed by the season finale of Grand Designs: The Streets (208,000). Repeats of Griff’s Canadian Adventure (144,000), Art Works (77,000), and Back In Time For The Corner Shop (DNR) slide into the late night.

ABC third in primary (10.7%) and fourth in network (15.9%) rankings.


Channel 10

The Project (158,000 6:30pm; 219,000 7pm) isn’t offering any real competition from 10. Taskmaster Australia (235,000) isn’t drawing any bigger audience (it should be – it’s great!). Gogglebox Australia (368,000) is bucking the trend for the network though has a smaller audience than other seasons. A repeat of Harley Breen: Flat Out (97,000) adds a few viewers in the late evening.

10 fourth in primary (10.4%) and third in network (16.7%) rankings.

SBS

Dinosaur with Stephen Fry (84,000) does its best out of the gate for SBS, followed with a bigger audience for The Elon Musk Show (131,000). Stunning British drama Vigil (62,000) runs into the later night with a smaller audience.

SBS fifth in both primary (4.3%) and network (9%) rankings.


KEY DEMOS

16-39: Seven’s AFL: Thursday Night Football (95,000) led Thursday Night NRL Live, Nine News 6:30pm, Seven News 6pm, and Nine News 6pm.

18-49: Seven’s AFL: Thursday Night Football (148,000) beat out Nine News 6:30pm, Seven News 6:30pm, Gogglebox Australia, and Seven News 6pm.

25-54: Nine News 6:30pm (168,000) trumped Seven News 6:30pm, Gogglebox Australia, Nine News 6pm, and Seven’s AFL: Thursday Night Football.


MULTI-CHANNELS

Bluey – AM (130,000) delivers a now standard multi-channel win for ABC Kids/TV Plus.

One change to the previous week’s primetime line-up after the Total TV figures were added: Thursday Night NRL Live (Nine) lifted 12% to 640,000; Seven’s AFL: Thursday Night Football (Seven) lifted 1% to 592,000; and Taskmaster Australia (10) lifted 29% to 428,000.

The BVOD best was Home and Away (159,000).
