The sun rises on the second last day in Samoa. George, Gerry, Liz and Matt remain.

“If I don’t win immunity today, I’m toast.” Liz warns us. She only survived yesterday due to a dramatic finale twist and has been on the bottom of the tribe since Nina was eliminated a couple days ago.

The final four approach the final immunity challenge, after 46 days they are physically and emotionally running on fumes. To perk them up, JLP lets them reunite with their loved ones.

Liz, Matt and Gerry all jubilantly greet their partners but the best reunion by far was George, King of Bankstown meets with his Brains vs Brawn bestie; the Duchess of Double Bay, Carla.

George becomes the real-life version of Macedonian Jesus on this crucifix-like challenge which sees castaways clinging for dear life while JLP gradually spears them in the back with spikes! It’s as painful as it looks and almost as dangerous as the boxes in this season’s first challenge.

Gerry shows ages is just a number and lasts a full hour in this uncomfortable AF position. George taps out after 2 hours leaving a showdown between Matt and Liz. After 4 hours and sheer determination, Liz wins final immunity! She is guaranteed a 1 in 3 chance of winning this competition.

Going to tribal after Liz won immunity meant for the first time, George, Gerry and Matt were forced to vote for each other. “My reflection in the challenge means I should go home.” Gerry surrenders. If only it was that easy.

“What move did you make without me instigating it?” George asked the final three. Liz reminds George of the time she saved Flick and resulted in Dave going home. Matt stammers, he’s got nothing, just like Simon predicted.

“What about your social game?” Hayley asks. Gerry blames the age gap between himself the other contestants and Shaun points out the flaws in Gerry’s social game. “I am who I am.” Gerry replies unapologetically.

“I wanted to come into this game and be bold and take risks and just YOLO it. I have played a much more interesting game than the two players next to me. I am the last standing villain. I am the last standing first-time female player. I took down the games biggest villain and I am the perfect balance of hero and villain in a glittery purple cape.” Liz proclaims.
