THE BEST OF THE RUSSELL GILBERT SHOW part one really struggles to draw an audience.

Channel 9

Nine continue to be untouchable in primetime, starting at 7pm with A Current Affair (667,000) and continuing with an unbeaten Married At First Sight (897,000). Under Investigation (355,000) benefits from its lead-in and little competition, as See No Evil (117,000) and Ordinary Joe (55,000) complete the evening with much smaller audiences.

Nine first in both primary (28.4%) and network (36.2%) rankings.

Channel 7

Home & Away (482,000) again lands as Seven’s best after 7pm. Part one of The Best of the Russell Gilbert Show (237,000) draws a small-yet-reasonable audience, struggling as much as The Front Bar: All Sports Edition (232,000) is outside of Melbourne. Repeats of Kitchen Nightmares Australia (101,000) and Unbelievable Moments Caught on Camera (46,000) fill out the late night.

Seven second in both primary (16.6%) and network (24.6%) rankings.

ABC

7:30 (446,000) and Hard Quiz (515,000) again lift the ABC into second in primetime, and set it up for big night. The Weekly with Charlie Pickering (403,000) and QI (236,000) follow suit, though slip into second in the slot. The rest of the night plays out with a repeat of Zoe Coombs Marr: Bossy Bottom (76,000) and a new ep of Adam Hills: The Last Leg (70,000).

ABC third in both primary (12.8%) and network (16.4%) rankings.

Channel 10

The Project (171,000 6:30pm; 251,000 7pm) underwhelms for its mid-week offering on 10, as The Dog House Australia (326,000) does little to lift the network in primetime. Afterwards Law & Order: SVU (155,000), Fire Country (83,000), and a repeat of Bull (102,000) keep few transfixed.

10 fourth in both primary (8.9%) and network (15.2%) rankings.

SBS

Wildlife ER (65,000) slides in for SBS, followed by the first episode of the three-part Australian documentary series The Swap (97,000) and Bloodlands (85,000).

SBS fifth in both primary (3.7%) and network (7.5%) rankings.
