The unexaggerated true story about the greatest musician of our time.

Daniel Radcliffe plays “Weird Al” Yankovic in a film about the unexaggerated true story about the greatest musician and sex symbol of our time.

Weird: The Al Yankovic Story is the outrageous biopic of the unique artist who gained fame and fortune by parodying hit songs. A true-life story about the man who turned twisting popular lyrics into a hugely successful career had to be equally twisted, befitting the man, the myth, the legend known to the world as “Weird Al” Yankovic.

The comedy film was directed by Eric Appel (Brooklyn Nine-NineSilicon ValleyDie Hart), marking his feature film directorial debut, and written by Al Yankovic & Appel. Weird: The Al Yankovic Story was produced by Mike Farah, Joe Farrell, Whitney Hodack, Tim Headington, Lia Buman, Max Silva, Al Yankovic and Eric Appel, with Henry Muñoz III, Neil Shah and Zachary Halley serving as executive producers. Behind-the-scenes, Appel collaborated with director of photography Ross Riege, editor Jamie Kennedy, costume director Wendy Benbrook, and production designer Dan Butts. The original music was composed by Leo Birenberg and Zach Robinson. Al Yankovic served as supervising music producer and Suzanne Coffman was the music supervisor.
