The hit time-travelling fantasy drama, OUTLANDER, has been renewed for an eighth and final season, just ahead of the premiere of its seventh season on FOXTEL.
The seventh season will feature a mix of returning characters and new additions to the OUTLANDER family, including Charles Vandervaart as William Ransom, Izzy Meikle-Small as Rachel Hunter, and Joey Phillips as Denzell Hunter.
Fans can also expect to see returning favourites such as CaitrÃona Balfe as Claire Fraser, Sam Heughan as Jamie Fraser, Sophie Skelton as Brianna MacKenzie, and Richard Rankin as Roger MacKenzie.
The show has also added Australian actor David Berry as Lord John Grey, Caitlin O’Ryan as Lizzie Beardsley, and Paul Gorman as Josiah and Keziah Beardsley.
The OUTLANDER television series is based on the international best-selling books by Diana Gabaldon, which have sold an estimated 50 million copies worldwide, with all nine books gracing the New York Times best-seller list.
The television adaptation has become a worldwide success, blending elements of history, science fiction, romance and adventure into one compelling tale.
OUTLANDER is executive produced by Matthew B. Roberts, Ronald D. Moore, Maril Davis, Toni Graphia, Luke Schelhaas, Andy Harries, Jim Kohlberg, CaitrÃona Balfe and Sam Heughan.
