  1. Can’t wait!! Great to see Peter Psaltis being onboard as the No.2 PBP commentator like he does all the time in a similar role with the NRL. I would’ve liked to see Mat Thompson take part as well, having seen him commentate another sport other than NRL last month at the World Short Course Swimming Championships in Melbourne. However, he would like to be there as the main event (I mean any major sporting event Nine has rights to) commentator rather than settle being No.2 since he took over from the retired Ray Warren in June last year, but then Todd is still the network’s leading Tennis announcer. I’m sure there will be more opportunities to come, especially when Nine/Stan will be able to broadcast the Olympic Games (not officially announced yet but is still imminent after Seven chose to stay with the Cricket) again over the next coming years.

  2. I really like Laura Robson as a tennis commentator. Good to hear John Alexander’s voice as a commentator in the Australian Open. My favourite commentators also include Mark Petchey, Jim Courier, Darren Cahill, Roger Rasheed and Todd Woodbridge.
