Who would have thought a show that got bumped after its second episode would struggle so much for its finale?

Home & Away (439,000 7pm; 397,000 7:30pm-8:30pm Late) led from the front for Seven with the 7:30pm hour first in primetime. A big retrospective The Front Bar (293,000) delivered a strong Melbourne audience but not much else. Four repeat eps of Kath & Kim (212,000; 117,000; 91,000; 69,000) umm… did… stuff.
Seven first in both primary (20.4%) and network (31%) rankings.

A Current Affair (504,000) did its job for Nine, winning 7pm, but that was where the good news ended. The run of medical programs RBT (366,000), Paramedics (337,000), A+E After Dark (211,000), and Emergency Call (65,000) delivered reasonable-yet-diminishing numbers with some winning their slots.
Nine second in both primary (19.6%) and network (27.9%) rankings.

7:30 (442,000) and a repeat of You Can’t Ask That (297,000) were the ABC’s strongest, leading into another sub-par result for Q+A (199,000). Repeats of Baby Surgeons (102,000), Stuff the British Stole (54,000), and Magda’s Big National Health Check (DNR) filled out the later and late portions of the schedule.
ABC third in both primary (11.7%) and network (18.2%) rankings.

The Project (146,000 6:30pm; 214,000 7pm) kicked of 10’s night as – believe this – their best for the evening. A repeat of Ambulance Australia (196,000) led into the finale of The Real Love Boat Australia (99,000) which delivered a result consistent with the rest of the season. Repeats of The Cheap Seats (87,000) and Blue Bloods (45,000) completed the night.
10 fourth in both primary (7.4%) and network (14%) rankings.

Finales of Dishing It Up (59,000) and Guillaume’s Paris (61,000) led SBS’s night, followed by repeats of World’s Most Scenic Railway Journeys (117,000) and Wuthering Harlots (67,000).
SBS fifth in both primary (4.1%) and network (8.9%) rankings.
