Seven and Nine battle it out to see who can offer the most bland schedule after 7:30pm.

Seven’s Thursday is fast becoming a wasteland, propped only up by its News product. Home & Away (457,000 7pm; 399,000 7:30pm-8:30pm Late) is trying its best to maintain an audience, while a quad repeat of Kath & Kim (261,000; 199,000; 177,000; 142,000) is trying its best to lose them.
Seven first in both primary (20.5%) and network (29.5%) rankings.

A Current Affair (544,000) leads Nine’s night again, followed by a raft of reality in RBT (369,000), Paramedics (342,000), and then into the second part repeat of Underbelly: Vanishing Act (128,000), followed by US drama The First 48 (31,000).
Nine second in both primary (18.8%) and network (27.4%) rankings.

A quieter night for the ABC, with 7:30 (468,000) and Foreign Correspondent (373,000) delivering a good enough audience to claim first in primetime. Q+A (253,000) bounces up, perhaps buoyed by the news it will return to Mondays in 2023. Kurt Fearnley’s One Plus One (147,000) struggled as a result. Repeats of Stuff the British Stole (99,000), and Magda’s Big National Health Check (33,000) fill out the late night.
ABC third in both primary (13%) and network (18.9%) rankings.

The Project (183,000 6:30pm; 282,000 7pm) is provided a little ratings dignity for 10 as the lead-in for a repeat of Ambulance Australia (238,000). The Real Love Boat Australia (134,000) recovers only marginally on last night’s dismal audience. Repeats of The Cheap Seats (82,000) and Blue Bloods (45,000) drew small audiences in the later and late night.
10 fourth in both primary (8.3%) and network (15.7%) rankings.

Dishing It Up (52,000) and Guillaume’s Paris (56,000) lead the way for SBS, chased down by World’s Most Scenic Railway Journeys (109,000). The Handmaid’s Tale (87,000) is doing OK business in first-run linear, and smashing it in Total TV for the previous week (up 425% to 520,000 for last week’s ep!).
SBS fifth in both primary (3.9%) and network (8.6%) rankings.
