Viewers of Seven’s breakfast show will notice some new faces on their TV screens.
Executives in charge of Australia’s #1 breakfast show are making changes both on and off screen, some of which will become very obvious.
On Friday Executive Producer Sean Power sent a note out to staff advising Mylee Hogan is joining the team as the permanent Sydney reporter.
Until now, reporters from 7NEWS covered the reporter shifts in Sydney on a rotation.
An enthusiastic Power told staff:
“Mylee has been on the road with 7NEWS in Brisbane and Sydney over the past seven years and earned a stellar reputation for her professionalism, passion and tenacity.”
TV Blackbox can also reveal Teegan Dolling has been hired as the new Melbourne reporter and discussions are taking place with applicants for future producing roles.
It’s part of a push to bolster the on-air talent and behind-the-scenes team.
Teegan Dolling is a good, very experienced reporter, so a good hire getting her.
Hopefully they’ll find airtime for the also excellent Sarah-Jane Bell who appears to have been regularly freelancing for Sunrise for a while lately (particularly good during the Victorian floods)
Do we know what happened to Nathan Templeton? He has not been on air since April 2022. Has he left the network?
Thank god they got rid of Sarah Jane Bell…could not stand her ughhhh
