It’s challenge day on The Block, and all of our contestants are heading to the top-secret Ford Design Centre for a special challenge.Â
The winner of the challenge – where our contestants have to build a sculpture for their house that features an element of a Ford – will win a $80,000 Ford Everest.
It’s a close competition but there is one standout – Ankur and Sharon take the win and the car. After such a tough time on The Block, they are in tears.
But the happy tears didn’t last long. The rain has poured down in House No.3 and part of their roof in the breezeway might cave in.
They also have major budget issues.
Scott Cam meets with Jo from Finance, and she tells them Ankur and Sharon are $53,000 over budget. Jo thinks they haven’t been thinking about the budget at all.Â
This leads to an awkward confrontation between Ankur and Sharon and Scotty and Shelley.Â
Scott announces he is shutting them down and taking over the finances of the build. It’s the first time he has done this since 2019 at The Oslo in St Kilda.
Will this be the end of the road for Ankur and Sharon?Â
Sharon and Ankur are $81,000 in the red and still gets to keep the car they won so unfair when Oz and Omar were disqualified for getting a discount of $10,000 for their baby grant piano,I believe that Ankur and Sharon are $81,000 in the red and the car they won should be sold to pay for that,,,if it’s good for one it’s good for every one,,,,The car must be sold to compansate for the huge bill,,,,,if the Oz and Omar had won that car and was $81,000 in the red then Scott would make sure the car is taken off the boys to have them embarrassed on the show like he embarrassed them with the baby piano,,shame on you Scott cam,shame on you,The right thing to do to Ankur and Sharon is to confiscate the car to pay back for the huge over spending,,Hope it gets done,
