THE HANDMAID’S TALE doing massive catch up/on demand business for SBS.
A Current Affair (556,000) shrinks for Nine while still taking the lead. RBT (420,000) manages the timeslot win, and Paramedics (339,000) slips into second place afterwards. A+E After Dark (195,000) and New Amsterdam (58,000) complete Nine’s primary channel-winning night.
Nine first in primary (19.8%) and second in network (27.3%) rankings.
Home & Away (437,000 7pm; 401,000 7:30pm-8:30pm Late) slips into a neat second place for Seven, however the quad repeat of Kath & Kim (183,000; 142,000; 131,000; 109,000) does nothing more than act as a placeholder for the upcoming special. This was followed with a repeat of Autopsy USA (59,000).
Seven second in primary (17.8%) and first in network (27.8%) rankings.
The Project (169,000 6:30pm; 276,000 7pm) slide away, offering little help to The Amazing Race Australia (292,000). Gogglebox Australia (441,000) bounces back on last week’s late night figures to take primetime solo. A repeat of The Cheap Seats (176,000) and new Law & Order: SVU (76,000) flesh out 10’s schedule.
10 third in both primary (12.8%) and network (19.1%) rankings.
7:30 (463,000) and Foreign Correspondent (323,000) slide into third in primetime for the ABC, however Q+A (220,000) again drag the night down and affecting Kurt Fearnley’s One Plus One (150,000). A repeat of Old People’s Home for Teenagers (48,000) wraps up the night.
ABC fourth in both primary (11.7%) and network (17.5%) rankings.
Dishing It Up (101,000) premieres and pairs with Guillaume’s Paris (83,000) to lead SBS’s night, followed by World’s Most Scenic River Journeys (105,000) and a new ep of The Handmaid’s Tale (73,000).
SBS fifth in both primary (4%) and network (8.3%) rankings.
