Prepare yourself for The Chase with the newest, brightest, and blondest Chaser in town: The Smiling Assassin.
The Smiling Assassin (Mara Lejins) will make her debut on The Chase Australia on Channel 7 and 7plus following the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games.
Mara Lejins is set to become the youngest Chaser on the show at the age of just 27. She has previously appeared as a contestant on The Chase in 2017 where she banked an impressive $20,000 for her team.
In 2020 she appeared as a contestant in spin-off series Beat The Chasers where she won $58,000 in her heat.
Mara joins the ranks of the game’s giants, such as Goliath, The Governess, The Beast, The Shark, The Super Nerd, and The Tiger Mum, who have been standing in the way of the contestants like a formidable force for years.
The Smiling Assassin gives off the impression that she isn’t dangerous despite the fact that she is wearing a pink costume, a headband that matches her attire, and a gorgeous huge smile.
“I only smile when I’m trying to take down contestants, that’s why I’m always smiling,” she says with a grin.
Who can take her on?
The Chase Australia is an ITV Studios Australia production for the Seven Network based on the original ITV quiz show.
She’s beautiful
She’s in great contrast with the other Chasers.
An excellent addition to the team.
