Leading health and diet guru Dr Michael Mosley sets out to help five people who have recently got out of shape – both physically and mentally – because of either lifestyle changes or being sedentary during lockdown.
Michael is looking to overhaul and restore their fitness levels with a healthy, low-calorie, intermittent fasting diet combined with an easy exercise regime featuring HIIT – High-Intensity Interval Training.
Before getting started, the volunteers undertake medical tests to check for signs of premature ageing. After 21 days of being monitored on the regime, the volunteers should have lost weight, feel better and have greatly improved their aerobic fitness levels.
In addition, they may have reversed any premature ageing – a tried and tested format packed with great viewer take-out: simple, sensible, and effective diet and exercise advice that can really improve people’s lives in just three weeks.
