The premiere episode of the new global chat show, Piers Morgan Uncensored has been watched by a combined (Pay TV + Free-To-Air) national audience of 143,000 on Sky News Australia.
The new show, hosted by the former CNN and Good Morning Britain anchor Piers Morgan, was the number one program on Foxtel, delivering a total average audience of 93,800 pay-tv viewers. An increase of +114% on the year-to-date timeslot average.
The new program is broadcast Tuesday to Friday 9pm on Sky News in a timeslot previously occupied by Rita Panahi and Paul Murray.
Sky News Australia was also the most-watched channel Foxtel channel on Tuesday evening
Piers Morgan Uncensored was also the number one program on Sky News Regional. The broadcast on the linear regional free-to-air channel delivering a total average audience of 48,600, an increase of +51% on the year-to-date timeslot average.
On news streaming service Flash, Piers Morgan Uncensored was the number one program, drawing in three times more viewers than any other primetime program on the platform.
Across Sky News digital platforms including SkyNews.com.au and Sky News Australia’s YouTube channel, content from the program delivered more than 2.5 million video views.
This follows a strong debut for the program on the new TalkTV channel in the UK, which drew more average viewers (317,000) than all other news channels combined. TalkTV was also the most-watched news channel across its primetime schedule on launch night.

This is the first show of its kind broadcast across three separate continents.
In Australia, Piers Morgan Uncensored broadcasts on Sky News Tuesday – Friday at 9pm AEST and is available on Foxtel, regional free-to-air channel Sky News Regional and on news streaming service Flash. The program is also available as a live audio stream on iHeartRadio.
Internationally, Piers Morgan Uncensored is broadcast on TalkTV in the UK and FOX Nation in the US. The show is also syndicated to RTL in Holland and simulcast in the UK on TalkRadio.
