The breakfast TV staple is sticking around for much longer than reports suggested.
Today co-host Karl Stefanovic has denied rumours he is leaving the breakfast TV program, after reports suggested he was set to leave to spend more time with his family.
Woman’s Day reported the TV host would step away from Today and instead increase his duties at 60 Minutes while also spending more time with family.
Amidst widespread subsequent reporting in the media, 3AW radio host Neil Mitchell texted Stefanovic for confirmation.
But he received a simple:
“No way, absolutely bulls***”.
For now, it looks like Stefanovic and Ally Langdon will remain as co-hosts of Today for some time.
Stefanovic was dropped from The Today Show in 2018, replaced by Deb Knight (who joined Georgie Gardner, the then replacement to Lisa Wilkinson).
Following poor ratings, the show received a complete revamp in its lineup in 2020, with Stefanovic returning and Langdon in the chair beside him.
