The ABC primetime double of 7:30 and AUSTRALIAN STORY just pip 10’s THE DOG HOUSE AUSTRALIA in primetime.

News product was the only thing keeping Seven and Nine competitive.

Home & Away (477,000 7pm; 431,000 7:30pm-8:30pm Late) down and uncompetitive for Seven in either slot – third in primetime. A repeat of MOVIE: The Proposal (300,000) should have been considered indecent.
Seven first in both primary (20.4%) and network (29.8%) rankings.

Nine’s worst Monday since the tennis. A Current Affair (614,000) reasonable though way down on normal, and a mixed repeat/new of Mega Zoo (278,000 (141,000 rpt MEL/ADL; 137,000 new BNE/SYD/PER)) lands them in a very distant fourth for the slot. La Brea (181,000) finishes the first season to little fanfare, and the late night split for footy codes delivers a shocker for 100% Footy (N/A BNE/SYD) (less than 25,000 people tuned in) and Footy Classified (65,000 MEL/ADL/PER) fares little better. What a mess!
Nine second in both primary (15.7%) and network (24.1%) rankings.

The Project (252,000 6:30pm; 382,000 7pm) way down for 10, reflective of the general consensus for the night. The Dog House Australia (498,000) a high(!) point and their best, and even Would I Lie To You? Australia (303,000) finds middle ground in its seasonal results. New and repeat FBI: Most Wanted (142,000; 99,000) episodes were never doing to do anything massive though consistent.
10 third in both primary (13.3%) and network (18.8%) rankings.

7:30 (532,000) & Australian Story (477,000) deliver a primetime win for the ABC, as Four Corners (342,000) and Media Watch (340,000) both pick up audiences on last week slightly due to no MAFS. Consequently China Tonight (186,000) and a repeat of Q+A (44,000) do very little business.
ABC fourth in both primary (13.1%) and network (17.5%) rankings.

Quite night for SBS: Britain By Beach (165,000), Secrets of London Tower (159,000), and a repeat of 24 Hours in Emergency (97,000).
SBS fifth in both primary (5.3%) and network (9.9%) rankings.
