We did the math.

Nine starts strong with A Current Affair (711,000) – up on last night – and only gets stronger with Married At First Sight (908,000) blitzing the field (and also up on last night). Under Investigation (410,000) draws a slightly bigger audience than last week as Forensics: The Real CSI (118,000) completes the night.
Nine first in both primary (26.1%) and network (35.1%) rankings.

Home and Away (495,000) starts Seven’s night as their best, and unfortunately for them SAS Australia (365,000) slips even further as the audience appears to all-but abandon it. The Front Bar (349,000) audience suffers with the small lead-in. Ambulance: Code Red (169,000) fills out the schedule. The AFL season cannot come quick enough for them.
Seven second in both primary (18.1%) and network (25.1%) rankings.

The ABC capitalise on their strong start, with 7:30 (490,000) and Hard Quiz (589,000) coming in a strong second place in the primetime slot. Shaun Micallef’s Mad As Hell (487,000) picks up a little on last week but they did have their audience back. Starstruck (209,000) offers little though also lifts on last week, as do QI (151,000) and Adam Hills: The Last Leg (124,000).
ABC third in both primary (12.4%) and network (16.8%) rankings.

The Project (223,000 6:30pm; 335,000 7pm) down on last week – as was almost everything when compared to last week. Ambulance Australia (269,000) does nothing special, and a double repeat of Bull (158,000; 153,000) acts more like an audience sedative. This Is Us (80,000) premieres to weak first-run numbers, though should lift reasonably with a week of BVOD and catch-up.
10 fourth in both primary (8.7%) and network (14.8%) rankings.

A broad mix on SBS for Wednesday: Tony Robinson: The Thames At Night (161,000), Concorde: Secrets Behind The Crash (171,000), and Hidden Assets (70,000).
SBS fifth in both primary (4.5%) and network (8.3%) rankings.
