Thursday to Saturday really feels like it’s one way ratings traffic, doesn’t it?

The Olympic feeling rolls on, thanks in no small part to well edited packages getting replayed and replayed. Seven’s night looked thus: Home and Away (471,000), 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games – Night 6 (493,000), 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games – Evening 6 (513,000), and 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games – Late 6 (444,000).
Seven first in both primary (25.6%) and network (35.4%) rankings.

A Current Affair (530,000) leads as Nine’s best, while new RBT (451,000) and Australia Behind Bars (479,000) are doing reasonable, usually timeslot-winning numbers. The emergency/incarceration trend continues with A+E After Dark (231,000) and Prison (67,000) into the late evening.
Nine second in both primary (19%) and network (27.8%) rankings.

A big announcement from Leigh Sales lifts ABC’s 7:30 (453,000), while the return of
Foreign Correspondent (290,000) doesn’t help much…though neither does the return of
Q+A (252,000) to the wasted Thursday timeslot. The Princes and the Press (159,000) and a repeat of How Extra (83,000) flesh out the schedule.
ABC third in both primary (10.5%) and network (15.4%) rankings.

10’s Thursday – like most of its week – is a real mess. The Project (200,000 6:30pm; 306,000 7pm) isn’t doing anything, and running repeats of Bondi Rescue (246,000) and Territory Cops (210,000) while marking time for the Olympics to end isn’t doing them favours. New & repeat Law & Order: SVU (168,000; 147,000) fill gaps in the schedule, and the few watching a repeat of Blue Bloods (88,000) will be pleased it aired.
10 fourth in both primary (8%) and network (13.7%) rankings.

SBS’s Thursday rolls out successfully: Scenic Coastal Walks with Kate Humble (144,000), The Long Call (125,000), and a repeat of Incredible Journeys with Simon Reeve (37,000).
SBS fifth in both primary (3.8%) and network (7.7%) rankings.
