The limited series reboot of Sex and the City proves to be a massive win for Binge, becoming the most watched premiere on the streaming service ever.

The anticipated premiere of And Just Like That… the new chapter of the ground-breaking series Sex and the City, has become Binge’s most watched show at premiere ever.

Thursday’s (9 December) double-episode premiere drew the biggest daily audience for any series with fans tuning in to see the return of Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker), Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) and Charlotte (Kristin Davis).

The season continues with the following eight episodes premiering weekly each Thursday at 7:01pm AEDT.

And Just Like That… follows Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte as they navigate the journey from the complicated reality of life and friendship in their 30s to the even more complicated reality of life and friendship in their 50s.

The series also includes previously announced cast members Sara Ramírez, Sarita Choudhury, Nicole Ari Parker, Karen Pittman, Chris Noth, Mario Cantone, David Eigenberg, Willie Garson, and Evan Handler.

Binge Executive Director, Alison Hurbert-Burns, said:

Last week’s premiere attracted the biggest audience for any show, and it’s just getting started! We can’t wait to bring Australian viewers the eight remaining episodes across summer.”

Fans can catch up on all their favourite Sex and the City moments with every season, remastered in HD, now streaming on Binge.

And Just Like That… continues with episode three on Thursday at 7:01pm AEDT on Binge.
